What is WorldQuant?מה זה WorldQuant?
WorldQuant is a global quantitative investment firm founded in 2007 by Igor Tulchinsky. Its approach: generate a very large number of small predictive signals — alphas — and combine them into trading strategies. It also has a research office in Ramat Gan (see Careers).WorldQuant
What is BRAIN?מה זה BRAIN?
BRAIN is WorldQuant's free web platform where anyone can build and test alphas, with lots of financial data built in. You don't need to install anything or write complex code — alphas are written as short formulas.BRAIN
- Write an alpha formula from the built-in data fields and operators.
- Simulate it — a backtest that reports metrics such as Sharpe, Turnover and Fitness.
- Submit alphas that pass the quality checks — and earn points.
The path to Gold and the consultant programהמסלול עד Gold ותוכנית ה-Consultant
Reach 10,000 points and Gold, and you may be invited to the BRAIN Research Consultant program — an invitation is not guaranteed. Consultants are then graded every quarter into “Genius” levels:מי שמגיע ל-10,000 נקודות ול-Gold עשוי לקבל הזמנה לתוכנית ה-BRAIN Research Consultant — ההזמנה לא מובטחת.

An unofficial guide also mentions a daily base payment of about $0–120 for submitting alphas. WorldQuant describes these amounts as potential, not typical, and publishes no formula. Reports on forums suggest most participants earn modest amounts.
